Welkom!

Welcome to my first blog ever! All this Internet stuff is very new to me and I am still teaching myself how to use it. Please have patience.... I'm trying my best!

WOW! What a year.....so far! In my wildest imagination I would have never believed that 2007 would start so amazingly for me...

DANKIE JESUS – It’s all from You!

It all started in last October when one day, I received an e-mail that changed my life forever. It was from one of the most wonderful persons I have ever met. With this e-mail a “Beautiful Spirit” woman reached out to me and wanted to help making my dream come true! Since that day, I have had the most amazing journey of my life ever. My dream came true and my heart cannot find the words to express my thankfulness towards God and my dear amiga and her organisation. This whole journey made my faith so much stronger and encouraged me to believe even more that nothing is impossible for God and of His great love for me. I still find it hard to believe that everything really happened and when I reflect back on it all I can’t help to fight back the tears of thankfulness.

With this I also have met the most awesome people whom I will cherish in my heart forever. They expressed the Love of Christ to me and HUMBLED me with all their love and caring. Life can get lonely sometimes but knowing that I have such wonderful friends (although they are far) really encourages me again...

Oh....yes, I must tell you this...(So that you can understand why this journey was such a big thing for me)

It was the farthest I’ve ever been away from home (and I did it alone), my first time in another country, first time flying, the biggest city I’ve ever seen and my first experience of staying in a hotel...(yes you may LAUGH, it’s true!)
You see.....I am an Africanfarmgirl who grew up BAREFOOT on our farm, in the middle of nowhere. The Africanbush was my best friend, I always had my gun with me and could shoot since the age of 3 years. I think we travelled like 3 times a year to the city and then it was a really BIG outing... I couldn’t believe all the tall buildings, fancy cars and lot's of people . The noise of the city really got to me and I longed for the farm and being able to walk in the sunset, with the sounds of Africa in my ear....
SO NOW YOU CAN JUST IMAGINE THE AWE OF MY JOURNEY, EVERYTHING WAS SO BIG AND NEW TO ME

I would do it all over and over and over and over AND OVER again, if I had the chance!

I am excited about what the future holds for me, because I know it is in God’s hands and He is always up to a special surprise! The most important for me in life is to stay in His perfect will, sometimes it’s not so easy and takes up a lot of sacrifice and endurance, but I surely believe with my whole heart that He is every last one worth...

“Baie dankie” for spending some time with me on my blog and listening to my heart’s song.

I'll be back!

DIE LEWE IS LEKKER!

Liefde

Dear Kari, i have been doing a little running around in blog world and I found you here.
